Dean's Welcome Address

Welcome to UCD Quinn School of Business.
UCD School of Business has long had a reputation for producing excellent graduates. Maintaining that reputation means that we must always be alert to the way that the business world is changing, and today it is changing faster than ever. Equipping our graduates for that unpredictable and fast-paced business world is our goal. Our aim is to give you not only skills and knowledge, but also a willingness to embrace fresh ideas, to think in new ways and to respond creatively to the challenges you will face.

All our undergraduate business programmes are designed to provide you an appropriate grounding and understanding in all business subjects. However, we believe that students should also be able to specialise in a preferred area of business and all our programmes allow you that option.

Ireland is a small open economy driven by intelligent education, taxation and industrial policies and the Irish example is seen by many as a benchmark to follow around the world. Massive infrastructural growth and huge international investment have created a strong economy built on entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.
