The start of the 2019/2020 academic year will see the launch of the UCD Moore Centre for Business—a new world-class facility energising the Belfield campus with the latest teaching technologies and innovative working spaces for business learning.
Integrating fully with the UCD Quinn School across all three levels, this exciting new wing delivers agile spaces to meet evolving business needs in a flexible learning environment that will expand the student experience. The new space increases our capacity to embrace our four core pillars.
Our Four Core Pillars:
Business, Society & Sustainability
Tackling global challenges
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Seeding problem solving and entrepreneurial mindsets
Research & Enquiry
Cultivating curiosity, data, analysis and thinking
Driving continuous professional and personal development
More than a Building
The UCD Moore Centre for Business and the UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business together will provide an exceptional student-centred space, allowing students and faculty to learn, teach and collaborate in new ways.
This project is about more than a building. It involves:
- what and how we teach, learn and assess our programmes and curricula;
- the student experience in and outside the classroom;
- the digital and educational technology environment;
- the physical building, planning and strategic development campaign.
It has involved the entire UCD College of Business team and we are all excited to see where we may, as a community, take it.
A number of workshops and events will be held as we begin to occupy the space.
We warmly invite your collaboration in exploring creative possibilities. If you have specific interests or recommendations please talk to Professor Maeve Houlihan.
