Welcome
Online User’s Guide to the General Regulations: Undergraduate and Graduate Taught Programmes (2012/13 academic session)
Thank you for visiting the Online User’s Guide to General Regulations which has been designed to help students and staff navigate their way through the General Regulations governing Undergraduate Programmes and Graduate Taught Programmes.
The Online User’s Guide is organised thematically and uses an FAQ approach to explain General Regulations. The text used in the Online User’s Guide is the text of General Regulations; specific sections of General Regulations are referenced throughout, and indicated by numbers in brackets.
In order to access information, please click on one of the 10 headings listed on the left of this screen or enter a word in the Search User's Guide box. For example, if you would like to know what module dependencies are, then click on Modules and Credits and a list of FAQ relating to the theme Modules and Credits will be listed and you can then click on the question relating to what module dependencies are. Similarly, if you would like to know what a grade point value is, then click on Assessment, Grading and Examiners and this question will be listed with the other FAQ relating to this theme.
It is important to note that General Regulations are subject to review and change. The Online User’s Guide will be updated accordingly to reflect any changes. Should you print any of the FAQs from this Online User’s Guide, we would ask you to ensure your printed copy is the most up to date by checking the site regularly.
