Curriculum Management & Timetabling

The focus of the Curriculum Management & Timetabling team is on facilitating and managing the capture of curriculum information via the Curriculum Management System (CMS), the configuration of relevant systems, the set up of new Majors and Programmes and the publication of curriculum information through timetabling and the curriculum browser.

The work done by this team facilitates the linkage of all information gathered via the CMS – Module descriptors, Majors, Minors and Programme Information – and ensures that the data is accessible online by students and staff in a variety of formats.

The primary business of the Curriculum Management Team occurs during the Information Capture & Curriculum Management (ICCM) season, which runs annually from spring to summer. Further details on all aspects of ICCM – including timelines – are available by clicking on any of the tabs above.

Set-up of new majors and programmes

The set-up of new majors and programmes is normally finalised within two weeks of meetings of the UUPB and UGPB. Incomplete information on programme specifications will result in delays.

School/College Restructuring

This page is intended to provide information to staff on some curricular aspects of the changes arising from School/College restructuring. These changes apply only to the existing Colleges of Engineering, Mathematical & Physical Sciences and the College of Life Sciences and do not impact on the College of Business & Law, the College of Arts & Celtic Studies or the College of Human Sciences.
