Information Services Team
Mission Statement
The role of the Information Services Team provides a first-class service to Registry, School and College colleagues, Senior Managers and external agencies by providing timely, accurate and fit-to-purpose information enabling analysis and informing decision-making. Our expertise lies in understanding both the data and the needs of our colleagues and tailoring reports to facilitate the efficient delivery of UCD services.
Services Provided
The Team provides Services across the following four areas to Senior Management, Academic and Administrative Staff and external agencies (such as the HEA):

Data Consultancy
- Recommendations regarding information and data links for new reporting
- Data/Information advice relating to new information initiatives

Provision of Reporting Expertise and Support
- Provision of assistive statistic and analytic information
- Infoview report production and support
- Transcript and Diploma Supplement testing and support

New Business Processes
- UCD Academic Analytics
- Local Graduate Research admissions initiative

Ongoing Operations
- Collation and provision of accurate statistical reports to external agencies (eg HEA, NUI etc)
- Module capacity management
- UCD Degree Tracking
