Progression from QQI-FET Social Science

A degree programme in Social Sciences (BSocSc) offers students a wide range of subjects concerned with people and the world within which they live.

The BSocSc degree programme prepares students for a wide variety of ‘people focused’ careers and future training in areas such as social work, social research, management or policy analysis. The Degree of Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSc) and the Degree of Bachelor of Social Science (International) are offered at undergraduate level in Social Science. Both degrees are similar in content and structure. The BSocSc is a three-year degree programme while the BSocSc (International) is four years as it includes an additional year of study in another European university approved by the Faculty.
