Do I need to submit ID with my vetting form?

Yes, we are required to verify your identity. You can come to the Student Desk with your documents, or, if that is not convenient, you can attach certified copies when submitting your form.

What ID is acceptable?

You must provide us with certified copies of two forms of ID as follows: 
(NB do not send original documents)

one Photo ID and Date of Birth, either of the following: 
bullet Passport 
bullet Driving Licence
     
two A document showing your name and current Irish address e.g. 
bullet CAO offer
bullet Bank statement
bullet Lease for rented accommodation
bullet Utility bill

Who can certify copies?

Any of the following

bullet UCD - School/Programme Office or Student Desk 
(You can call in person with your original documents. They can be copied and the originals returned to you). Some programme areas organise special sessions for this.
   
If you are not on campus any of the following can certify your documents:
bullet A Garda Siochána/ Police Officer
bullet Practising Chartered and Certified Public Accountants
bullet Notaries Public/Practising Solicitors
bullet Embassy/Consular Staff
bullet Regulated Financial or Credit Institute
bullet Justice of the Peace
bullet Commissioner of Oaths
bullet Medical doctor
