2012 Application Season
Applications can now be opened for 2012 entry on the online applications system. Any majors which were not closed for September 2011 entry will be rolled forward to the new term. In the case of majors which were closed for the last term, or where new majors have been created, we would request that schools contact us at their earliest convenience to ensure that courses can be made available for application as soon as possible.

Online Applications Enhancements
We are pleased to announce that the following enhancements have recently been made available on the online applications system:

  • A sort facility has been introduced on the Administration Screen.
  • Applicants can now copy documents to a current application that have been previously uploaded to another application in either the same, or a previous, term.
  • New checklist items can now be added to the personal record (e.g. if we became aware that an applicant attended an institution that was not noted on the original application this can be added subsequently).
  • The application fee requirement can now be excluded by application type. This is useful in cases where a major requires an application fee for one application type but not for another (e.g. company sponsored applicants).

Several other enhancements are planned for the coming months including the facility to combine all documents uploaded by an applicant into a single pdf. file.

STAFF ONLY entry system
Since the recent Banner upgrade, it is no longer possible to view student pin numbers. This is a data protection issue and is outside our control. If you wish to update the course information on an existing student record then the following procedures apply:

  1. Current students (i.e. those who are still using their login details) need to be contacted directly by the School to request their pin numbers. This is the responsibility of the relevant School.
  2. Former students (i.e. those who are no longer using their accounts) can have their pin numbers refreshed to their dates of birth.
