Dear Colleagues,

I wish to draw your notice, as a Research Supervisor, to a new development which will be available from 15 August 2012. From this date, all key information pertinent to Research Students assigned to you, such as thesis details, registration information and significant dates will be available online in a single location, via Infohub. Through this development, students will also be able to review their own record and Schools will be able to review their GR students. Further detailed information will be distributed on this development prior to its release.

This development is being undertaken in conjunction with the Online Document Publishing Initiative which enables students and graduates to securely produce and manage their own UCD documents online.

This initiative was rolled out in August 2011 with the online Certificate of Attendance and extended in February 2012 with the Academic Transcript. To date, nearly 8,000 students and graduates have availed of this service. As 21 June, a further 4,300 students who completed their qualification in the semester 2 Grade Approvals Process are now able to produce an online Transcript.

The rollout of the Single View of a Research Student further extends our online services for students and gives them more information about their studies.
