Dr. Tara McMorrow is a current Conway Fellow and a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology in the UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Sciences. 

Dr. McMorrow is a member of the board of the Irish Society of Toxicology

Dr. McMorrow has published over  30 peer-reviewed articles and has co-authored several book chapters in cancer biology, toxicology and renal disease.

 

The Renal Disease Research Group is based in the UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research at University College Dublin, Ireland.

The group is led by Dr. Tara McMorrow and Prof. Michael P Ryan and has considerable expertise in the areas of kidney disease, toxicology, pharmacology and epithelial biology.  The group currently consists of a research coordinator and six PhD students.

 

Prof. Michael P Ryan is Professor Emeritus of Pharmacology at UCD and a Conway Fellow.  He is the former Dean of Doctoral Studies and Postdoctoral Training  at University College Dublin and was Head of the Department of Pharmacology in UCD for over 25 years.  

Prof. Ryan has published over  90 peer-reviewed articles and has co-authored book chapters on cancer biology, toxicology and renal disease.
