BioIreland 2006 will be held from November 12 - 14, in O'Reilly Hall, UCD, Dublin
The third in a series of conferences profiling the Island of Ireland as a location of choice for the development of the biotech sector, BioIreland 2006, which will be opened by An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern T.D, promises to be the biggest showcase of Biotechnology this year with some 350 people expected to attend the event over the 3 day period.
Over the last ten years Ireland has grown into a major player on the international biotechnology stage, with government policy and initiatives continuing to make it the preferred location for foreign biomanufacturing and research as well as providing necessary support to start up companies.
This biennial All-Ireland conference will examine global trends in biotechnology and profile Ireland's developments in this area. Opportunities also exist for both indigenous and multinational companies to present their technology and service offerings and to network with international biotechnology players.
