The Centre for Ageing Research and Development in Ireland (CARDI) recently published a new report entitled A Picture of Ageing Research: Ireland, North and South.
This pioneering publication provides a snapshot of major academic research into ageing currently being undertaken across the island of Ireland. With entries from 15 of the leading academic institutions and an overview of some of the major collaborative research projects currently underway, it illustrates the breadth and quality of work by researchers in a wide range of disciplines relating to ageing in Ireland, North and South and the significant role research has in planning for all our futures as our population ages.
