Each year SFI publishes a census of the research activity it supports, which provides valuable information on the grants it awards and the outcomes of that funding for each institution.
This year the SFI Census 2010 reports UCD leading on all key metrics, including the number of active grants held, the number of grant holders, the publication output including peer-reviewed papers, precommercial activity including the number of patents filed and the number of outreach programmes.
The community at UCD has built an outstanding research programme. It is a credit to all of you.
