Agriculture, Food Science & Veterinary Medicine
The College of Agriculture, Food Science & Veterinary Medicine delivers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the areas of Agriculture, Environment, Food Science, Human Nutrition, and Veterinary Sciences.
Arts and Celtic Studies Celtic and Irish studies, Irish literature, history and heritage, folklore and archaeology are among the key research themes explored. The College is also aligned with the Humanities Institute of Ireland (HII).
A key aim of the College of Business of Law is to develop new, well-funded research centres to support individual and interdisciplinary research projects.
The UCD College of Engineering and Architecture is a key player in developing rigorously trained, creative, engineers and architects who are vital for achieving a knowledge-based, sustainable future.
The constituent Schools in the UCD College of Health Sciences deliver undergraduate education in health sciences, medicine, midwifery, nursing, physiotherapy, public health and radiography as well as an extensive portfolio of graduate education for healthcare professionals.
A broad range of research disciplines are explored, including the social sciences, psychology, geography and philosophy. The College of Human Sciences is also aligned with the UCD Geary Institute, one of Ireland’s leading social science research institutes.
UCD Science offers one of the most diverse Science programmes in the country, providing BSc, Higher Diplomas, Graduate Diplomas, MSc and PhDs in biological, chemical, geological, mathematical, physical and computer sciences; it is also a highly research-active College.
