About UCD College of Arts & Celtic Studies
The College consists of eight Schools conducting research into a broad range of areas, and also includes the
Humanities Institute of Ireland, which supports interdisciplinary and programmatic research in the humanities and social sciences. The College is also home to the
UCD Clinton Institute for American Studies, the
UCD John Hume Institute for Global Irish Studies and the
Irish Virtual Research Library and Archive, an innovative programme designed to make visual resources held at UCD available to researchers via the web.

Within the eight Schools there is a diversity of disciplines and fields of research covering the full range of the humanities.
Outputs
The College offers a wide range of Masters and Doctoral programmes, with over 4,000 students enrolled.
