The constituent Schools in the UCD College of Health Sciences deliver undergraduate education in health sciences, medicine, midwifery, nursing, physiotherapy, public health and radiography as well as an extensive portfolio of graduate education for healthcare professionals.
Translational and clinical research is the primary goal of the College whose research spans the areas of: Care of Older People; Women’s and Children’s Health; Food and Health; Occupational and Environmental Studies; Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation and Health, and Sport, Exercise and Health. Within the College, the School of Medicine pursues this translational strategy to impact on diseases of national importance and contribute to improvements in quality of life and global health.
