ABOUT UCD INSTITUTE OF FOOD AND HEALTHThe Institute brings together academic and research staff from across UCD in health-related aspects of food research, and aligns research efforts with national, international and industry research agendas.
With competitively-achieved funding from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Enterprise Ireland, Science Foundation Ireland, EU Framework Programme and other public and private funders, food and health research income in the Institute has come to over €25 million since 2008.
