Research

Research Interests

                                      

Molecular plant-microbe interactions, in particular how fungal pathogens are able to overcome plant immunity to gain entry to the plant cell. Currently her research group is focussed on the fungal pathogen of wheat Zymoseptoria tritici. An improved knowledge of plant-fungal interactions will allow the development of strategies to provide improved crop protection to disease.
