Dr. Deirdre O’ Connor is Lecturer in Resource Economics in the School of Biology and Environmental Science, University College Dublin. Her research interests include agricultural and rural policy analysis, with particular reference to the impact of EU policy on rural communities; food policy – especially the issue of food poverty in Ireland and agri environmental policy analysis in the Irish and European context. Her consultancy and research assignments include commissions from a number of national and international organisations such as the European Commission, the Organsiation for Economic Co-Operation and Development, a range of national statutory agencies and the community and voluntary sector. |
