Dr. solan holds a Bachelors degree in Agricultural and
Environmental Science, a Masters degree in Engineering Technology
(Environmental stream) and a PhD in Biosystems Engineering. His PhD investigated
the consequences of the environmental
impact of landfilling. Dr. Solan has experience of teaching a number of different
modules within UCD School of Biosystems Engineering and UCD School of
Agriculture and Food Science, both in the traditional lecture based format and
Problem Based Learning structure. He has recently been appointed as Post
Doctoral Teaching Assistant to the Biosystems Department as well as intern
examiner on BSEN30240 Waste Management & BSEN40320 Waste to Energy
Processes & Technologies. He is currently teaching in the area of biofuels
and renewable energy sources. |
