2006 - present Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in the group of Professor Wim G. Meijer. School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science. University College Dublin, Ireland. Full time. My main duties have been largely on the molecular analysis of the microbial community of the reproductive tract of mares. Supervise, facilitate and support undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as postdoctoral fellows in their research and learning activities. Taking active part in the organization of lab meetings and implementing rotary housekeeping activities. Participate in the financial management of the project, such as organizing purchases, keeping detailed records of expenses and elaboration of reports.

My main duties in this job were to perform original research aimed to understand the molecular bases of the iron acquisition by the intracellular pathogen Rhodococcus equi and supervise, facilitate and support undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research and learning activities.
