Outreach Activities

Outreach activities typically in the School of Art History and Cultural Policy, involve giving lectures externally.  Since the late 1990s, I have been a regular contributor of lectures to the National Gallery of Ireland programme, as well as to the Irish Georgian Society, the Hunt Museum and the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers.  I also contribute entries to sale catalogues of Adam's Fine Art Auctioneers.
In July 1998 former Professor Michael McCarthy and I were part of a group from Ireland invited the Italian Institute to Sicily. I gave several talks, including ¿Turisti Irlandesi in Sicilia dal 1717 al 1816¿ (University of Palermo, 9 July 1998).
'New Discoveries in the 18th century Irish painting School of the National Gallery¿, contribution to Annual Heritage Seminar, Ramelton, Co Donegal, 31 May, 2003
