Biography

I am a fisheries biologist with a particular interest in the biology and spatial ecology of marine fishes and also the effects of exploitation on life-history characteristics and population dynamics. I am currently a post-doctoral researcher in Dr. Jens Carlsson's molecular ecology research group at UCD, where I am studying the population genetics of boarfish, Capros aper. During this fellowship I will also be investigating ways to incorporate genetic data into traditional fisheries stock assessment methods.
