| Carlos Esquerre is postdoctoral fellow at UCD, whose main research interest is in the application of sensor technology and chemometric analysis. He obtained a PhD in Biosystems Engineering from the University College Dublin in 2011. During his PhD research he investigated the use of chemometric analysis of near infrared spectroscopy and spectral imaging data for quality assessment, and was awarded two times by the ICNIRS (2010 & 2011). Prior to this he lectured at La Molina National Agrarian University (Peru). Obtained his MSc in Food Technology at Santiago de Chile University (Chile), and awarded his BSc in Food Engineering at La Molina National Agrarian University. He has published 8 papers in high impact journals (including Analytica Chimica Acta) in area of chemometrics, near infrared and hyperspectral imaging. |
