| • I was creator and co-ordinator of research project TELFLOOD which was selected for funding under DG XII Environment and Climate Research and Development Programme. This project brought together a team of hydrologists and meteorologists from Ireland, Sweden and Italy. It was rated in the highest category in the evaluation process and was selected for funding up to 350,000 ECU. The project is developing methods for linking together meteorological, hydrological and hydraulic models in order to forecast flash floods in steep catchments which drain through urban areas | |||||||||
| • From 1993 to 1997 I was Director of the M. Eng. Sc. (Water Engineering ) programme in the Department of Civil Engineering, UCD.
