Biography


Vanessa Ayala holds a PhD degree in computer science from University College Dublin (Ireland). She is currently a Research Scientist at University College Dublin (Ireland). She is also a member of the Performance Engineering Laboratory at UCD, as well as Lero - the Irish Software Research Centre. Her main research interests are software engineering, data security and privacy, digital forensics, cybersecurity, and performance engineering.

She also has extensive industrial experience (more than 10 years of experience). In her professional life, he has been researcher, technical analyst, and software engineer; working on different industries, such as retail, information technologies, and banking.
