Research Interests

Project Title: Origin and evolution of the lower crust of southern Scotland. (PhD)

Project Description:

Lower crustal xenoliths provide unique insight into the composition and evolution of an otherwise inaccessible region of the Earth, thereby constraining observations from deep seismics and geoelectric techniques.  This project investigates the lower crust under the Southern Uplands and Midland Valley regions of Scotland using geochemical, petrolotical, geochronological and petrophysical methods.
