Biography

John Paul completed his BSc at University College Dublin in 2005 and an MSc in Hydrogeology at University of Leeds in 2006. Having worked in the groundwater industry for 5 years, in December 2011 he started a PhD project entitled Quantitative analysis of fracture systems and their impact on flow pathways in Irish bedrock aquifers, which is funded by an EPA Strive PhD Studentship and supervised by John Walsh, Tom Manzocchi, Taly Hunter-Williams (Geological Survey of Ireland) and Ulrich Ofterdinger (Queens University Belfast).
