Léna holds a Bachelors degree in physics (February 2007) and an M. Sc in Exploration and Applied Geophysics (December 2008) from the University of Pisa, Italy. Subsequently, she worked for 8 months in collaboration with the ' Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia' in Pisa.
She joined the Geophysics Group in the School of Geological Science in UCD in January 2010 as a PhD student, currently working on the definition of shallow velocity structures in volcanic areas from inversion of surface waves dispersion characteristics.
