I completed a Geology BSc in University of Sao Paulo in December 2012. As an undergraduate, I was part of a 18 months FAPESP-funded research project about the petrogenesis of high-grade metamorphic rocks in southwest Minas Gerais, Brazil, which was presented as my final monograph. I then joined UCD as a PhD student in January 2014, with CAPES/Science Without Borders funding. Following my interest in petrogenetic processes, my research is about the formation of rare-element granitic pegmatites in association with the Leinster Granite in southeast Ireland. My interests include useful tools to understand how rocks form, as geochemistry, trace element modelling, isotope geology and geochronology.
