I am currently a senior researcher at the UCD Geary Institute. I received my Ph.D. in economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2005 and a B.A. in economics and social science (TCD). The core focus of my research is a micro analysis of human behaviour using rigorous econometric techniques. I apply my quantitative microeconometrics skills to multiple disciplines including the economics of human development, health economics, labour economics, political behaviour, early child development and education, developmental psychology and methods for evaluating policy interventions. I am currently the principal investigator on the evaluation of the `Preparing for Life' early childhood intervention.
