The diffusion of Scientific, Technical, Medical Information in Enlightenment Europe is a key recurrent concern since the PhD research ( carried out in Paris/ and attending EPHE seminars - Section VI: Histoire et Civilisation du Livre and the Respublica literaria ( H.-J. Martin; Paul Dibon). Early influences there from the work of Robert Darnton on the European diffusion of the Encyclopedie were renewed in the early 1990s, and more recently at The Hague and University of Limerick, June 2007, just prior to his move to Harvard University Libraries.
