Born 1959, in Dublin, and educated at Col·iste Mhuire. Studied at University College Dublin (BA in Modern Irish and Irish Folklore 1980, MA in Modern Irish 1982, PhD in Modern Irish 1992) and the University of Edinburgh (MSc in General Linguistics 1984). |
