Biography:

Research Interests

The research interests of Dr Ghergu lie at the interface of Partial Differential Equations and Potential Theory. He is concerned with qualitative properties of classical solutions for elliptic and parabolic equations. He is particularly interested in reaction-diffusion systems arising in biology (such as Gierer-Meinhardt model) and chemistry (Brusselator, Gray-Scott, Lengyel-Epstein or Schanckenberg models) and their steady-state.
