Biography

My research interests are primarily focused on numerical simulation and experimental mechanics in structures, notably in vibration damping and stress analysis which I have been undertaking during my PhD studies. I also have a good expertise in evolutionary optimisation which I applied to numerical models in order to solve vibration problems. From a solid engineering background, I am passionate about solving complex problems using my analytical and programming skills.
 
I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow on the design optimisation and simulation of composites for the IComp research centre.

Specific areas of research interest include numerical modelling of mechanical systems, vibration testing, composite materials, evolutionary optimisation and machine learning.
