| Since graduating in 1975, I have been working in one way or another in the area of System Design, Modelling, Simulation, Optimisation, Analysis, Implementation, Operation and Validation My main research interest at present is in modelling and simulating dynamic systems with combined deterministic and statistical behaviour and these can range from noisy deterministic signal systems, as found in machine controllers, to complex diagnostic time series as found in machine condition monitoring systems and industrial operations management systems. My other area of interest is in sustainable development, particularly building energy systems and the related topics of solar energy and indoor air quality. |
