Biography

David is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Palliative Medicine with Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services and University College Dublin, working in the area of Connected Health and Technology Enhanced Symptom Assessment. He is anxious to ensure that research in Connected Health and Active Ageing is inclusive, and conducted in a manner that will benefit all; from those who can remain independent to those who require complex care. A technologist with wide industry experience, David has degrees in Physics from TCD and UCD and a PhD from NCI on the role of mobile technologies in improving mental health outcomes.
