Biography

Dr Nuala Brady is an Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at University College Dublin. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from Trinity College, Dublin where she was awarded a Foundation Scholarship and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Cornell University. Prior to joining the School of Psychology at UCD in 2000 she worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at McGill University and as a College Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Manchester (1996-2000, tenured in 1999). Her research on visual and social cognition investigates the perception of faces, bodies and biological motion and she teaches in these areas at both undergraduate (PSY10040 Introduction to the Psychology of Perception and Cognition, PSY20080 Visual and Social Cognition) and postgraduate (PSY40550 Readings in Visual and Social Cognition) levels.
