| I am interested in the application of cultural sociology to the problems of health inequalities and marginalised groups. My research has spanned many areas including, religion, media, power, sexual abuse, health and technology. I use mixed methods research and am particularly interested in developing and applying participatory action research and photo voice.
I am currently PI on a UCD Wellcome Trust project, "Patient Voice: participatory action research to support the self management of rheumatoid arthritis".
Professor Tom Inglis, School of Sociology
