Dimitrios-Stavros graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2009 with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He continued his studies and graduated from University of Southampton in 2011 with an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies. After graduation he worked as a mechanical engineer at e2 Architects, taking part in projects related with renewable energy. In May 2017, he received his PhD from the School of Mechanical Engineering, University College Dublin, where he continued as a Senior Energy Systems Researcher, under a H2020 project called SIM4BLOCKS. He joined the UCD Research Analytics & Reporting team as a Research Systems Analyst, in September 2017.
