Catherine graduated as a radiographer in 2002 from The School of Diagnostic Imaging, University College Dublin and went on to complete a postgraduate business course in the Dublin Business School. Subsequently she completed a PhD in  radiation dose and image quality and  following the PhD completed an MSc in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in UCD. Catherine joined the UVH team in 2003 and is involved with all aspects of veterinary diagnostic imaging  including:- inpatient radiography- small animal and large animal-, ambulatory radiography, computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy and theatre work. Catherine has just completed a specialist certificate in radiation safety. She has a particular interest in Digital Radiography (DR and computed radiography (CR) both of which are installed in the University veterinary Hospital.
