I work in the Centre for Veterinary Epidemiology and Risk Analysis which is based in the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine. I have worked as a Research Assistant in CVERA since 2002 and Office Manager since 2014.

I have co-authored papers on a number of topics including:
- animal welfare e.g. cattle and horses
- herd and flock diseases e.g. bovine tuberculosis and brucellosis, Louping ill & Schmallenberg
- food safety e.g. heavy metal concentrations in bovine kidneys
- pet demographics e.g. distribution of pet dogs and cats

In addition, I have been a key member of the local organising committee for a number of successful international veterinary conferences held in Dublin including:
