What is research impact?

The importance of impact is reflected in the UCD Strategic Plan 2015-2020 with the University's commitment “to increase the quality, quantity and impact of our research, scholarship and innovation”.

This strategy builds upon the work of the UCD ‘Beyond Publications’ steering committee that investigated the definitions, evidence and systems for capturing outputs and impact beyond publications.
