CWTS has compiled a list of UCD publications from journals that are included in the expanded version of the Science Citation Index (SCI), the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) for the period 1998-2007.
A dedicated website has been created by CWTS for the purpose of validating this list of citation index-based (CI) publications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
We now request that every academic checks her/his publications on the website (http://www.cwts.nl/ucd_2008/) to ensure the validity of the list that will be used in the bibliometric analysis.
You should already have received an email that explains how to login to the website from your school administrator. If not please contact ucdresearchservices@ucd.ie or phone us at 716 4040.
You will be able to check and validate your data on the website up to the 1st August 2008. CWTS Leiden will close the website after this date.
The list of publications on the CWTS website has been pre-checked against your RMS Profile by CWTS, however it is possible that an article has been missed, or has been incorrectly attributed to a researcher.
CWTS will analyse the validated publication lists at an aggregate level (i.e. academic unit, College, research theme, university).
The results of the bibliometric analysis will be used by the university to:
An individual publication list has been created for each researcher. At this stage you should have received an email with a link to your list of publications along with instructions on how to log-in.
1. To verify your list of publications, you can confirm your authorship of each publication by selecting "Yes" or "No". Press the “Submit” button (at the top or end of the page) to save your changes.
2. If you wish to change a selection, simply make the change and press Submit. Your submitted changes will be saved in the database so you can make your selections over multiple sessions, up to the closing date.
3. If any papers published in ISI/Thomson Scientific journals are missing from your list of publications, you may use the "Additions" button in the left panel to enter the bibliographic details of each additional paper.
