CWTS create publications list for all permanent academic staff for publications appearing in ISI/Thompson Scientific only (i.e. Science Citation Index, the Arts & Humanities Citation Index and the Social Science Citation Index). Staff should review this ISI list for accuracy and completeness. Only missing ISI publications should be added at this stage, Non-ISI publications will be reviewed in stage 2. Stage 1 will end on August 1st.
The first stage of the process is currently underway. In April 2008 UCD began working with CWTS Leiden to provide lists of all permanent academic staff author names. Based on these author lists, CWTS Leiden has extracted publications from ISI/Thompson Scientific which are now available for validation by individual academics and research staff.
At this stage we ask that you review your publication list on the CWTS website (login and link has already been provided to people with publications on ISI/Thompson Scientific) to ensure that all articles published by you in the Science Citation Index, the Arts & Humanities Citation Index or Social Science Citation Index appear in your list of publications. If you have publications from any of these 3 indices that are missing from the list, please use the ‘additions’ button in the left hand side of the page to add them.
All remaining research publications published by you will be captured in the second stage of the Bibliometric Analysis process when CWTS will extract data from the RMS Profiles.
