Is industry hostile to the PhD? How can early career researchers best position themselves for careers outside of academia? Hear from our expert panel on their experience of the preparedness of PhD graduates for the job and join the discussion during a Q&A session.   

Moderated & Review Poster Sessions

The 2015 Festival Committee thank all authors who submitted abstracts for consideration. The submission process is now closed. Authors will be advised by mid-August as to whether they have be selected to present in the moderated or review sessions. 

Poster Review Sessions:
Authors of abstracts selected for poster review sessions will outline their work to a two-person panel composed of senior postdoctoral researchers and/or Conway Fellows on the afternoon of Wednesday, 9 September.

Moderated Poster Sessions: 
Authors of abstracts shortlisted for moderated poster sessions will give a 5 minute outline of their work including mention of any innovative potential to a committee including keynote speakers, Conway Fellows & UCD colleagues on the afternoon of Wednesday, 9 September. 

Moderated poster session winners will give a 5 minute oral presentation of their work in a dedicated Festival session on 10 September. The 2015 Conway Festival Medal sponsored by Cruinn Diagnostics will be awarded for the best poster and presentation.
