Accommodation Booking & Support
We are a non-commercial housing advice centre for students, staff and visitors. We provide the information to allow you to make well informed choices. The advice and information supplied is for information purposes only and should not be construed as a recommendation. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of this website but there is no liability accepted for any errors or omissions.

Students
Some students seek to live off campus in either shared houses or apartments and other student’s prefer the relative quiet and homely comforts of lodging with a family. We have links to our websites that advertise properties for rent and also families who offer bed, breakfast and evening meal for either five or seven days per week.
Staff/Visitors
We can provide accommodation for staff in our staff apartment situated in the Merville Residence contact us via email roombookingsupport@ucd.ie or telephone + 353 1 716 5772 or + 353 1 716 5773. The accommodation support office can provide information on B&B’s and Hotels in the area.
Renting Accommodation
Off campus accommodation is available throughout Dublin city and suburbs and the UCD Accommodation Booking & Support Office help students/staff/visitors to find accommodation in a number of ways:
Our UCD Accommodation Booking & Support Office is based at the rear of the Merville Central Office in the Merville Student Residences and is open all year round where students can refer to UCD accommodation support staff. The office is open from 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday these hours will be extended during busy periods and can be contacted on +353 1 716 5772 or +353 1 716 5773.
Our website, www.ucdaccommodationpad.ie shows listings of houses, flats, apartments, lodgings and general self- catering accommodation.
- To use the site you need to register. Please use your @ucdconnect email address. Should you not have one please email roombookingsupport@ucd.ie with your preferred email address and CAO or application number.
- Once you register you will need to validate your account. Please note we activate accounts Mon-Fri, 9.30am to 17.00 to allow access to the website.
- The website has an alert system which you can activate. This notifies you should your preference for accommodation become available.
- The website also has a message board. This allows you to contact those offering accommodation and contact other students about the possibility of sharing etc. These messages are monitored and updated on the website daily Mon-Fri 9.30am to17.00.
- This website also has short term accommodation for staff and visitors.

- Advice on tenant rights and responsibilities and referral to threshold or PRTB

Letting agents are independent businesses and specialise in the rental market. Many but not all, charge a non-refundable registration, booking and administration fee plus deposits.
