UCD Residence Life Programme
UCD Res Life Programme aims to build a community here in residences in UCD through sports teams, activity days, outdoor cinema nights, cooking classes and information on safety and awareness.

LATEST EVENT UPDATE! End the year on a high with our Summer Outdoor Movie Night. Come along enjoy a brief break from study with fun movies and free food!
Tag Rugby: Every Monday of term from March 2012. A tag rugby tournament will commence and will see residence versus residence in this fantastic non contact sport. Call into your local residence office and talk to the RAs for more information.
Valentine’s Take Me Out: Valentines Take me Out night took place on the 14/2/2012 in Rendezvous Restaurant. This was a great event and love was in the air for the night! Free food and drinks were provided and it was an amazing night!
Roebuck Castle Catered & Muckross Formal Dinners: Both our catered residences had a Christmas formal dinner and an end of year Hawaiian feast. Fabulous food enjoyed by all and many thanks to our wonderful catering staff.
Christmas Fair: Our Annual Christmas Fair takes place in December and kicked off Christmas for residence perfectly. As the snow fell on top of us we all dug into minced pies and mulled wine along with a tasty hog roast!
Charity bag run for St Vincent de Paul: In December Res Life wanted to give something back and did a charity bag run for a very good cause. Residents picked up a SVP bag from their local accommodation office and filled it with unwanted clothing and simply dropped it back to us. Res life then organised the drop off back to SVP who were very grateful for the great donation.
We celebrated Arthurs Day in style in Blackrock!
...and our Reslife Sports Day was lots of fun!
Football: Res life ran a five a side football team that played every Thursday in the sports hall, free of charge! Bibs and footballs were supplied every week and when weather was good we played outdoors, on evenings that there was rain we played indoors. Residence really enjoyed this and it proved to be a huge hit. Residence football will be back next year so keep an eye out for updates on our facebook page.
Yoga: To help residents de stress during exam time yoga classes were held in the Belgrove and Blackrock for free. Once a week residents could take a break from studying and de stress with a free yoga class.
Free trip to IKEA: Residents were offered a free trip to IKEA to add a personal touch to bedrooms and apartments. A coach was organised that brought everyone to and from IKEA.
