RSS Feeds

What is an RSS Feed?
RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. RSS Feeds allow subscribers to receive frequently updated web content such as news headlines, blog entries or podcasts. By subscribing to an RSS Feed, you can get the latest web content sent directly to you as soon as it's published.

UCD and RSS Feeds
By subscribing to the UCD News Headlines RSS Feed, you can have the UCD News Headlines sent directly to you on publication.

How do I start receiving feeds?
In order to receive the UCD News Headlines RSS Feed, you should download a news feed reader or aggregator. This software is either standalone, in your web browser or linked with your email client. It will check the UCD News Headline Feed on a regular basis to ensure that you receive the UCD News Headlines as they appear - similar to how an email client checks with a mail server to see if you have any new email.
