1. Registration for Graduate Students

You are registered to the School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science. You are also automatically a member of the College of Life Sciences Graduate School.  It is important to register online for your chosen course, this will allow you to obtain your student card and gain access to the wide range of facilities available to students.

You can begin online registration on the dates provided on http://www.ucd.ie/students/keydates.htm 

To register please complete the following steps:

  1. Log on to your SIS webpage on http://www.ucd.ie
  2. Enter the Student ID & Password provided in your Enrolment Pack.
  3. On this page please click on ‘enter registration process’
  4. Click continue on the Welcome to UCD page to be brought to step 1
  5. Complete the personal information section
  6. Complete the survey section
  7. Complete the accomodation section if appropriate, if not, click on continue without applying
  8. Complete the Fees section if required (if you are being funded, click continue with no payment)

If you have not completed the accomdation and/or fees section it will appear that your registration is incomplete. You will not become fully registered until the full fees are paid.  Once you are fully registered you can collect your student card from specific designated area which will be advertised on campus or the Tierney Building.

SBBS "Biochemists examining NMR Results" by Prof. P. Malthouse Researchers are examining NMR spectra of a protein which promotes insulin secretion. This could be important in helping to treat diabetes.
